This class includes a video, printables, and instructions to get you started on your calligraphy journey. In addition, We’ve added external links to aid you in whichever path you take to advance your practice of Calligraphy.
Length of class: just over 30 minutes

In this class you will take your own penmanship to a calligraphy letterform, refine your handwriting, and craft personalized works of art. Whether for relaxation, invitations, cards, or just learning a new skill, Calligraphy is a journey of beauty and self-expression.

Ink (sometimes included with your writing tool) - Personally I like cartridge pens, but if using a dip pen, I use https://a.co/d/8XScFid)
Paper - Smooth, high quality paper (I use parchment like this https://a.co/d/hiOwsEe , but you can test your pen on all the paper types you have and see which bleeds and which give you the look you want.
Pencil/pen for the beginning of the course and comfortable practice
Patience and a relaxed space to practice without distractions
How to clean your nib (if that is what you’re using) -
Basic cleaning: Use warm water and a small amount of dish soap.
Scrubbing: If needed, use an old toothbrush to gently clean the nib.
Soaking for stubborn ink: For heavily inked nibs, soak in soapy water for a short time before rinsing.
Drying: Always dry the nib completely after cleaning to prevent rust.
